I enjoyed reading your Phd thesis on hair behavior. I need a moment to digest it all. Actually I enjoyed every word. Men love it when their gals are engaging in all the girly stuff. So that was a nice change of pace. Here is my hair secret. I'm nearly bald so I put on a hat and I'm good to go. Thank you both for the question and answer that was nice.❤️
As a fellow curly girl, I understand. Four years ago, I started embracing my curls. I tend to crack jokes about my hair, calling it wild Armo (Armenian) hair. My therapist tells me I make judgments about myself. It dawned on me recently that I even judge my hair and find it coming up short. Why? We are culturally conditioned to think straight, fine, glossy manes are the best. I have coarse, very thick curls. I don't have Northern European hair. I have Middle Eastern hair. And it's okay. Yeah, I will have to keep saying that to myself. Cultural conditioning takes time to overcome.
Thank you for being so generous with your reply! I know a few women who refuse to tell their scents or beauty secrets, so I appreciate your willingness to share. You've given me answers to some of the perfumes I have wondered about (no Henry Rose sampler for me!) and turned me onto some new ones. If I wanted a perfume that only lasts 30 minutes, I'd get a body spray from a discount store.
I've also been seeing ads for New Wash lately and wondered if it lived up to the promises--you are living proof that it does! Now I just need to save up for it. :) I've been using L'Oreal Professionnel Curls Reviver, which works well and smells heavenly, but I think when it runs out, I'm going to try the Bumble and Bumble you mentioned, as I've always loved their hair products, and that might be more what I need for my curly mess. At the end of your very lovingly detailed description of your routine, the "That's all!" made me belly laugh. A much-needed belly laugh, so I thank you for that, most of all. xx
It definitely never looks like wash and go! I say this from personal experience with wash and go hair. ha ha I guess if I want mine to look as pretty as yours, I'm going to have to put in a little more effort! Oh, and it never occurred to me that I could make my own rose water. I'm very excited about this. Look at all the helpful information you provided! Have a great Sunday, Allison. :)
I love this! I love these glimpses of daily life...it always reminds me that, no matter who we are or what we do for a living or where we do it, we're all just humans bumbling through this world hoping to look and smell reasonably attractive and feel good about the skin we're wandering around in.

Not that I am in any way implying that you're my gal. I hope you know what I meant. I'm going to get banished one day I know it
That’s funny Kenny 😊
Gay: do think that I will have to address Allison as Dr. Moorer? Lol
☺️ Allison could earn a phd in any field she might choose! You’re a sweet guy Kenny
I have no doubt. Thanks for saying that.
It would make my day if I thought that for one moment Allison cracked even the faintest smile at one of my seldom on point, innane remarks.

I looked at your picture, and I think your curls are absolutely beautiful.
Thank you so much!!!!!!
Thanks Mendy for your question and Allison for your response. Enjoyed reading
Maybe we’re on to something? Nice & light occasionally, given the seriousness of our times 😌
Sharing things that would be beneficial, interesting and/or helpful to all.... Enjoy your weekend Allison & stay warm! 🦋
Thank you for the information about your hair and what products you use for the incredible look you have
Namaste 🌸
What was the diagnosis on your knee hence crutches?
Haven’t gotten an official one yet. I have a queue of appts about all of it.

I enjoyed writing it all down. I guess it is quite a process and not exactly wash and go though it may look like it!
