"I lost trust in my heart a long time ago. I'm working hard on getting it back now."

Amen AM.

Thank you for all of this.

I’m with you about the declutter. I still have research articles and term papers from my Masters and Doctoral programs. Somehow, we hold onto these things but never look at them again. On the flip side, I’m intrigued by the intricacy and bright color palette in your doodle sketch pad. I hope you will continue to create these types of expressive drawings. Happy Sunday!

Hi Allison

I hardly know where to begin with my response to this post. There are so many things, good things and words to ponder that I want to recognize. I must tell you first, I’ll be humming Every Breath You Take for a good bit. I’m not a musician but I do understand the “cleanness “ of the lyrics you describe.

I love the vibrant colors, as Alice mentioned in your sketchbook. The symmetry in the painting with the crabs is very nice. I’m also glad to see someone purchased the painting with the feathers. I’m sure they will love it as much as I love my Tree of Life!

All the outfits you brought on your travels sound perfect. I especially like the Tux jacket. Bet you looked fantastic in that. I set up an account with The Real Real. Lol. I saw a picture of Shelby wearing what I believe is a rag&bone belt that I fell in love with. Gorgeous. I was hoping I might find it for a little less than Amazon is asking at the RR.

Sounds like you made a great dinner for H! I’ve learned that cooking for someone is synonymous with love. A good thing. And your appreciation of your sharp knives & gas range made me smile. 😊

So many things I’d like to comment on, but I’m mindful of going on too long .

I’ve lost trust in my heart too. And my brain surely gets a C minus if not a D in guiding me.

I’m afraid to trust what my heart believes. I will start working on building that trust again too. I guess believing that the heart knows what is authentic is a good place to begin.

Cute cute picture of you and Hayes! And the picture of you in the sun is really pretty. You take the best pictures when you’re outside in the sunshine!

Enjoy your time in Colorado

And when you get home and start to settle back into home, the novel will start to grow. Don’t be scared.

Thanks for sharing today Allison. 🌺

Ms. Allison: I love you and yours. I read this and Sis' Substack. That y'all are in the same time zone, possibly zip code is awesome. Sometimes stuff comes to a place where it's supposed to be. As if I know what that is.

So much good stuff! I’m getting that book. I need a new devotional. I did just that this week and weekend..declutterred , even some nostalgic collectables. I m working thru the house and I’m almost done. It just feels sooo much better..it’s my dad’s stuff. It was hard to do. I kept a few things, that I’ll display.

Yes, Loved Every Breath You Take... What a song. I'm excited to hear about Seven Thousand Ways To Listen. I still read Mark Nepo's Book of Awakenings, as well. And thanks, again, for sharing all the tips and pictures. Love them all. Happy Sunday List!
