"Something you're thinking about" will haunt me in my heart for a long long time and I will continue to think about it and hurt for you that you should ever have to feel that way. It's unimaginable to the rest of us.

Those of us who survived trauma take rejection even harder. Thanks for being vulnerable.

That feeling of being a chump...agreed, there isn't much that feels worse. I'm sorry you're feeling it.

Good morning Allison

Had to sit with your words for a good, long moment this early morning as they ALL ring true. Something I’m Thinking About, especially. I’m certain there are things I still don’t know, which at this point is best. I share your mantra Let Go. The dumper didn’t hesitate to Let Go. I’ve moved to I hope they’ve found what they’re looking for for the last 20 years of their life.

Can’t wait to see how your raised beds grow. Just a little hint about monarch butterflies. They like salt blocks. You can find one at the garden store. Tie it to a post in the garden. 🦋

I’m proud of you for the things you’re accomplishing at work & personally. Im grateful for the words you share with us on Sunday. It does help me more than a bit. It’s easy to cheer for you Allison & your success.

Sending lots of love & thanks .

I also use writing as a way to channel my most ummm, unusual thoughts. My filter still isn't great, but I used to spit out every thought. I've learned that some things, while they may genuinely hilarious and even bordering on genius, you can't actually say them to people. But they make for gold in fiction. (Which is, frustratly on hold, as I'm fighting a persistent sinus infection, more than 3 weeks now, and it's all I can do to just go to work. I've almost finished a course of antibiotics, and I'm going to try to get back in. The pressure and pain is nasty, and I'm hoping to get steroids to get it under control. My allergies/ENT problems have been more of a problem in my life than the autism. 4 sets of ear tubes by the age of 5, 2 nose and sinus surgeries... I'm hoping I don't have to get things popped open again.)

I get this from my dad. When I was a kid, he liked to joke about sneaking into our bedrooms, peeling off the covers, and watching us shiver. It's hilarious, but it's also a deeply fucked up thing to say to your elementary school-aged children. So that's why I'm like this!

Monday thoughts—There are at least 50 shades of grey zones, so don’t get too critical of being in limbo land. As a Gemini, you’re probably indecisive, and you can chalk it up to that. Dump the chump mentality! We never know what others are thinking, so no sense projecting or dwelling on false scenarios.

Thank you, Allison. I'm sorry you had to go through what you shared in "Something to think about." It's such a betrayal. I've experienced it, myself. Your light shines much brighter than all of it. A trusting heart is greater than what happened. The painful lesson only makes you stronger to recognize situations and people like this. Blessings are wished for you in beautiful colors & psithurism through the coming months, with love.

I just finished Peter Wolf’s (JGeils Band) memoir, “Waiting in the Moon”. Very well written (no ghost writer!) w/ an incredible list of artistic connections. Closing chapter of working with Merle Haggard is cool. Think you may like it! https://artsfuse.org/306773/book-review-peter-wolfs-waiting-on-the-moon-a-captivating-memoir-by-bostons-own-zelig/
