“Landman” — the dialogue! I’ll watch BBT in anything, but he inhabits this role. I laughed about it telling someone “I’m not sure he’s really acting, as much as reclaiming his Arkansas roots by way of TX.

The show is based on the podcast “Boomtown” and it’s worth your while. I listened to it in the car to/from Northeast Mississippi for Thanksgiving holidays. I’m so intrigued with this corner of our economy I found myself purchasing ConocoPhillips stock.

Love that quote and might add that even smart, wise women make mistakes. You have learned a great deal from your mentor, and sorry for the loss of this special friend.

I haven’t watched “Landman” yet but have been enjoying season 2 of “Bad Sisters.”

The Rosanne Cash exhibit looks fantastic and is so well-deserved. I saw her in concert last summer outdoors at Lincoln Center, which was a real treat.

Hope Sam’s alteration takes care of his adolescent angst!

Ya, you got a song here: This Side of the Mountain. I’m happier on this side of the mountain. Things that once mattered just don’t anymore, or at least far less than they used to. Life feels closer to the bone, but it also feels sweeter as a result, just a bit deeper than it did a year ago. The gravity of some situations pulls on me, but I no longer seek to solve them, just do my best to navigate life as it is. I don’t need to seek excitement — plenty of it naturally comes to me.

The chapter Rosanne wrote about her encounter with Dylan changed my life. I finally understood a lot of the problems I'd been having, and why people reacted to me way they did.
