At this point I don't need a very big boat.

Thank you Allison. Your Sunday message always makes me feel more grounded, more aware of how I want to feel.

Also, I ADORE Natalie Hemby. I so wish I could be there for that!

I’m not that familiar with Natalie Hemby as a solo artist, but do love The Highwomen as a group. The upcoming event sounds great, and I wish I could catch it in Nashville. Thanks for all your recommendations this week. I’m trying my best to stay afloat!

Regarding intentions, I've been re-reading the Four Agreements by Don Miguel Ruiz. He covers this well. Have a great week, Allison!

It’s kismet that you’re considering who you want “in the boat” with you during the upcoming storm. Just this weekend, lounging in bed, I was thinking it feels like we’re in a boat at sea & those with the most are drilling holes in the hull.

I’ve been thinking more about community & my safety circles. What buoys me is the strength & powerful actions & words of women. May our voices continue to rise.

Hi Allison

There are some Sundays that what you share and how you write immediately has me visualize an open window with a gentle breeze. Today is one of those days. Beautiful words. Like a song.

Who else can appreciate the engineering of a hinge. I stopped and thought about just that. And your gratitude list & wishes.

I would have never known about Martha Gellhorn had you not shared. What a spectacular woman! Loved reading about her! Can you imagine being friends with someone like her. Cigarettes & whiskey ha!

How cool a friend she would have been. I’m only guessing, but the woman you hold in high esteem that recently passed somehow reminds me of Martha ? I don’t know why

Glad JH is enjoying his winter vacation. Happy to see you write he’s living his best life!

As far as the boat goes I come equipped with every safety device possible. No way that boats sinking or any undesirables boarding.

Well, love again I don’t know. But I will keep my heart open for the unimaginable. I know you will find that very special man one day. And he’ll adore you.

Thank you for such lovely words today. I’m proud of you for carrying the notebook with you… I would guess all great writers do.

Have a happy week

xo

I definitely appreciate the engineering of the human since I started Ozempic and my digestive system only functions every 3 days. (But I've lost 20#!)
