I love reading your posts. Your honesty and vulnerability (and pics of your dog) make me smile.

I saw you Year’s ago at a hardly strictly event. What I remember is you on the back of a golf cart holding your baby, John Henry. You glowed!

Thank you for telling your truth.

Allison, you mentioned that you don't "fight with time." I believe I understand what you mean. I am a very structured person who used to always fight with time. I am driven to work, to achieve, to succeed and try to win at everything I do. However:

"I woke up one morning

and looked at the clock

to see what time it was.

Then I realized that time

is a construct of Man.

My life is actually

on God's Time, not Man's!"

So now I realize:

"Today is tomorrow's past.

Concern yourself with today,

so that you can thank God tomorrow

for today's good decisions,

that don't bring future sorrow." _ MRVERITAS.SUBSTACK.COM

I love the Albert Einstein quote and am going to share it on my blog tomorrow. Life is such a journey. We each have to find what works for us. I love your golden ball and your photo. Just beautiful. As an author, I am in awe of Taylor Sheridan. He is truly gifted and even though I too have to tune out some of the violence, he keeps me coming back week after week. My goal - to write like that! Thank you for sharing!

Hi Allison

Enjoyed todays post very much

I’m fascinated with the copper ball

I can feel the weight of it just by looking at the picture

I will have to buy one!

Todays music selection is lovely

I too, avoid any tv, or movie with violence, most especially if animals are involved… so I haven’t watched the show you mentioned, though I understand many people enjoy it

Thank you for sharing today

ALWAYS enjoy your writing

xo to you & sweet Willie

I've loved William since I started following you. He seems to effortlessly experience his Zen. Oh it should be so simple

Thank you, Allison. As always, I learn from your writing. This week, I, too, am thankful, as in your prayer. So thankful for the Great Spirit's teaching... "Thank you, Great Spirit, for showing me what I need to see." Oh, how I needed to see. and p.s. I can't believe how tall John Henry is, these days. in a picture you posted of the two of you, walking... wonderful!

“May I be calm, kind and available to those who need me”. I love this intention. I’m going to post this in front of me especially after visiting my beautiful family. I don’t think it’s an easy time we are living in and I want to be the best grandmama.

It would seem we share a common gift, we “see signs”. :) My ladies and I have been doing some deep-dive-book-club sessions on Women Who Run With The Wolves and this weeks chapter (#12 Marking Territory: The Boundaries of Rage and Forgiveness ... yep LOTS of meat and potatoes here) includes this very quote on Zen ...

“Before Zen, mountains were mountains and trees were trees.

During Zen, mountains were thrones of the spirits and trees were the voices of wisdom.

After Zen, mountains were mountains and trees were trees.”

Signs. ✌🏼💜🙏🏼
