Bad Sisters is badass! Great ensemble cast and it keeps you guessing. Your list is jam-packed with goodies as usual. I’ll check out the rest of your recommendations. Have you heard Tanya Tucker’s heartfelt new song “Letter to Linda?”

Enjoy this week of your joyous June!

Lucinda. You said it all. That voice that had my 5 year old daughter saying from the back seat "Daddy. she sounds like she's crying when she sings." Yes, I can hear her voice as I read it. It flows the same.

Emily"s recent pics I've sern of Shelby and yourself make my heart sing that she's back in the same town as you! It has been singing for you both since her return.

You were too far away from each other for far too long.

It's got to be doing wonders for both of you. I know for me it's one less thing to worry over.

Sending love to all.

Thank you.. thank you.. I have had a really difficult week that tested my emotions and made me push through fears, and yes find calm and balance and quiet the mind. Reading this is balancing in itself.. it’s a pure tonic. Oh and Bad Sisters… I’m with you.. absolutely loved it!

"We are like a flame that burns through the night.

It is not the same flame, nor is it another.

A child at 5 is certainly not the same "child" at fifty.

Similarly, a person who dies here,

and is reborn elsewhere is neither the same nor another.

It is the continuity of the same flame." _ MRVERITAS.SUBSTACK.COM

I have a number of very strange, very specific food issues. My diet is fairly diverse, but not in the usual way. There are many "normal" foods I can't eat (e.g., bananas), but I have no problem with many that might be considered "exotic" (e.g., fish eggs, octopus).

My problem isn't that I'm "not getting" stuff, perceptually. I'm getting way more than most people. At the Birchmere, between the opener and main set recently, I felt like I was aware of the distinct tone of every voice in the room.

My wife and I saw you and Shelby in Knoxville last year. You two are so special and I couldn't believe I got to see you two together! She looks so happy nowadays. Have a fun week, Allison!

Allison,

OK, now I am very curious about the potato chips & how they help the voice. (Or were you joking🙂)

Always great to hear from you🩷

That’s a wonderful picture of you and your sister. I am very grateful to her because it was through her that I discovered you and your music and the rest, like they say, is history! Px❤️
