"Obsession with the past

is like trying to drive a car

by only looking

in the rearview mirror.

However, denying the past

does not erase what happened.

Analyze what you did

and use the experience to improve,

and to help you enjoy your precious life.

Now is the only time you own.

Live, love, study, learn,

and work hard with a determination

to use all of your talents for good."

I love this post! I've been in a roller-coaster-tunnel-bubble of chaos and numbness these past months. I'm amazed at how present you are in each moment. This is all good for me to hear. xo

Hey Allison, so I read just this week, if you attach regret, to a thing one has to lookback on ,it may keep you in the past, change the regret, to "a choice" that I will be making differently in the future! 🤗 Its perception, that is all it is 🤷 we are blessed, especially living in the Volunteer State !🤪✌️

“I step outside. I sit in the swing. I make a cup of tea. I go lie down a minute (can you imagine!). I pick up a paintbrush. I read — for pleasure.” I love, love this! I read your process and realize I need to follow suit. Thank you ☺️

I feel happy for you. You’ve been doing the work and here you are on this new grounding of knowing what you need and when. Finding balance, contentment, peace and joy. I applaud you.

My God, this post spoke to me. There are parts of your journey that I identify with and conscious awareness to identify escalating anxiety is challenging but definitely doable. Keep being joyful and carry on.

Taking 10 minutes every day to focus on my breathing has helped me know my own mind. I'm more present as a result.

PRECISELY!!! We CANNOT dwell on bad memories. That’s the express train to depression. Keep working on it.
