Thank you for the John Prine event link. I cannot remember when I was introdiuced to his music, at least 30 years ago. My daughters age 28 and 31 are big fans of his too. He reached everyone.

Joy on....

randomactsofkindnessfoundation.org is a wonderful site to visit for kindness ideas!

Thank you. Heart heavy for the world and i know for a fact that creating some kind of beauty and doing something for others is a joy salve when we feel helpless.

I miss Nashville but that traffic is a dang deal breaker. No shame in ordering online ;)

Can’t wait to try my two left hands at this! What an inspiration.

I saw the Prine event clips last night. Beautiful ❤️

Allison the pumpkins are beautiful! I love the idea. I’m familiar with the pressed flowers and sent some for a dragonfly art project a friend was working on. It turned out so pretty!

And it’s really a thoughtful gift to give to your friend tonight!

There’s an elderly woman in my neighborhood that I wave to coming back from the gym every morning. She spends her days reading on her porch and I’ve wanted to stop with a little something... I thought of a store bought pumpkin but adorning it would make it more special. Thanks for the lovely idea.

Thank you for the very nice post today.

Much appreciated & so needed.

My heart was so heavy this morning with the news of the world. I felt guilty feeling any joy. You certainly brought it on with those beautiful pumpkins. Great idea!

The photo of you and Hayes is lovely. I love the different shades of green you put together and those boots! You’ve got style! Thank you for the joy on this autumn day. Peace to the world.

I read somewhere that green is the color that is physiologically easiest on the eyes. I don't remember if I read that it's because so much of the natural world is green or if I just assumed that's the reason. Our eyes see so much green in our daily lives that they have adapted to have to work less to process it. I love that thought...the color of nature and growth and vitality is the color that is the gentlest for us to see. I love wearing earth tones, especially the greens. It makes me feel connected to the natural world.

Color is good. The pumpkins look awesome. Your outfit is nice. Horrific stuff going on in the world. I am powerless to change anything but perhaps myself. I love this group gathered here. I/we all love you. I have had a few chats with other members and the love they all have for you is something nice. Our influence doesn't really spread a heck of a lot further so it is good here. ❤️

You and Sissy are so creative and your "pumpkinality" really shines through!

It's hard to focus on the bright side of life these days, but art in any form is my go-to medication.
