This really sounds interesting and I have time. I will look at it closely in the morning. Bedtime is long overdue but it is a public holiday here tomorrow (today). Px❤️
I will definitely do the exercise. It sounds very helpful. I'm jealous the weather is nice in Nashville. It's in the high 90s here in California's Central Valley. My solace is looking at the vineyards. It's hot as hell here but beautiful.
Damn. Talk about walking it. This made me weep the most beautiful healing of tears. Gracias. Gracious. Grateful. You’re a treasure and a beacon. Thank you Sister(s)!
Allison, thank you for a very interesting post. It appears to have much merit. You might also be interested in a cognitive process I've been using for the last 50 years or so. It is called "Felicific Calculus (FC)." FC is is an algorithm formulated by utilitarian philosopher Jeremy Bentham (1747–1832) for calculating the degree or amount of pleasure that a specific action may produce in your life. FC is a methodology that helps a person make better decisions. It is a method of working out the sum total of pleasure and pain produced by an act, and thus the total value of its consequences.
Here is how it works: on one side of a sheet of paper, to the best of your understanding, write down all the negative properties of a decision. On the other side, write down all the positive properties of a decision, Calculate each column. Then using the totals plus your best "gut" instincts, choose the column that you believe will give you the best results and the most pleasure. Even when I thought that sometimes I might be making the wrong decision. FC has never failed me in my decision making.
I once gave up a very lucrative job as a manager in a company, based on a FC decision. I took another job at half-salary, which seemed to many to be a very bad decision. However, within months in my new job, I was placed on a "promotion ladder," which allowed me, in a few short years to go from the equivalent of an enlisted "private" in the military to a Major Officer in the military. I retired when I was 56 years old, and I haven't had to work for a living for 23 years now. FC still works very well for me. You may want to try it. Allison: I can't follow or participate in all of your generously shared ideas, because of time and general (to be truthful) laziness. But I want you to know that I love you and on some things, that is the best I've got to offer. But it is steadfast.❤️
Hey Allison. In my therapy session today I worked on things with the horses. I had to get the horse to go backwards. I tried many different ways including a little silent cuss in’. After quite a few times the horse decided to back up on his terms not mind. The point being is that things unfold and come to fruition when it is supposed to and not always on my time. Some things take what feels like a lifetime and some things are a lifetime. Love and light. 🦋 Robbie
Thank you for the recommendation. I love seeing everything from you and Hayes. You both bring goodness and light to the world.

I’m definitely on board with this.
I hope I give it my all.
Love the photo. Isn’t being by the water so relaxing?
I will do it. Thanks Allison!❤️
Hi Allison
I will also participate in the exercise.
Have a pad of paper ready to go with my favorite pen.
Thank you for always sharing such good things with us. I appreciate your vulnerability & honesty. It helps me a lot.
Really, thanks to Hayes for sharing this with you!
xoxo
I was given a childhood trauma exercise by my therapist. I didn't do it.
I don't want to keep going back.
I'm going to try this.
Thank you SM and HC.

Do your best JB. This is a positive exercise

It always is, Allison. And always has been.

I like the sound of this system, Mr. Veritas. Thank you.

And I could at any moment change my mind. Lord knows I would benefit. Oh and in case I haven't ever mentioned it, I love you
I'm definitely in.
I’m in too!
