I’m going to do this. Not sure I can put it out there publicly, but it needs to be written down to make it real. I have similar things on my list to yours but perhaps in different context. Wishing you the best in this exercise!

Good morning Allison

Thank you for sharing and many of the things you’ve listed, I too would identify as areas of focus for me. As you’ve shared before gravity befalls us all, it’s important to me to find better ways to feel & live before that day. Lord knows my old ways have not served me well. I find the older I get, the less I really want. Especially material things. I want life to be easier and calm. To feel love and be loved. To be kind and not harbor grudges or resentment. To have a home that’s comfortable and a dog to adore and share my days with. Find

a volunteer experience. I realized the other day when I was grocery shopping and walked by the greeting card section, that there is no one to buy a card for anymore. Losing both of your parents does that to you. I think you once referred to it as being an orphan. So I think giving something back will help fill that void. Thank you again for this opportunity to take a careful & also hard look at myself. Appreciate your guidance. You’re a treasure. I feel grateful to have you out there in the world sharing & caring with us.

xoxo

Aren’t your “wishes” the same ones that just about anyone would want to change?

For you, I would put “be kinder to myself”. You seem awfully hard on yourself. Yet look where you are - surrounded by friends and people who admire you, who want to be with you and choose to do so.

None of us are flawless. We’re all walking imperfections. And that’s OK. It’s the journey that matters.
