I loved your video post from yesterday.

Love the video yesterday. What is it like to have your own Pandora station? I listen to it often.

I appreciate your candid recounting of the indentured servitude you and other musicians suffered through. It included many, many more including John Fogerty and Tom Petty, etc.

It’s a beautiful song Allison. And your guitar playing is very nice too. I’m sorry that happened to you with the record company. Hardly seems fair for an artist to lose ownership of their work. Will try to buy the album. The song titles alone, interest me. 💗

I have always loved this album. I swear the first time I heard “Go, Leave” I wept openly. Still makes me tear up.

Many artists, in many genres have a similar story to tell about the corruption, dishonesty and "blood thirsty" financial parasites out there who are incapable of creating anything. However, they are good at one evil thing. "screwing" artists. I feel great empathy for you and all talented, creative artist who give so much back to the world, but are "crucified" on the "cross of greed." My first book publisher went bankrupt. The company was taken over by some employees, moved to Asia, and all the rights to seven of my books went with them. Some of books are still being sold on Amazon, some in Kindle form, and I don't get a penny of profit. Also, I can track sales in other countries all over the world. My new publisher is willing to reprint my books and fight in court to help me. So I believe I understand the angst you suffer. God Bless You dear heart.

A cautionary tale that many artists can relate to . This letter brought to mind a quote from the soul giant Sam Moore. “Records are business. Stage is soul.” Take good care. Johnny Rockwell

I feel so bad for artists that are in you positions, or artists like Maria McKee--her music got burned up in that WB fire.
