I love your painting... interesting symbolism. Dali incorporated ants in his paintings. Representing decay & destruction that we surely see today in the world. At the top of the painting I see symbols of hope. Just my opinion
Allison, thank you for stimulating my mind with your cogent, brilliant, cryptic, concise response. Dogma is often perceived to be "truth" that can no longer be challenged nor denied, i.e. In the beginning was the Word. And the Word was with God. And God is the Word. Therefore, some philosophers believe if there is no dogma, there is no known truth.
The meaning of dogma to ancient Greeks was "something that SEEMS true." Pontius Pilate asked Jesus Christ, "What is Truth." And Jesus cryptically replied, "Dicit ei Pilatus: “Quid est veritas?" Jesus means that everyone who wants to know Truth, must find that Truth in His dogma and His God.
Unfortunately, many believe dogma to be absolute as they "create" unknown "gods" in their own image and create their own perspective of Reality. This may lead to a belief that everyone must accept a particular dogma and be forced to live with another's way of "uni-thought" free from independent or original thought.
A wise person should hesitate to blindly accept dogma that approves of destroying everyone and everything that doesn't agree with their beliefs. For the sake of human existence, Humanity must move away from dogma that uses "experimental" texts to reinforce outdated ideas and instead seek: Right View, Right Aim, Right Speech, Right Action, Right Living, Right Effort, Right Mindfulness and Right Concentration as they seek to become a Fully Enlightened Being at One with the Universe.
And you would have been correct
Thank you, Allison. Your response has surpassed my expectations. We’re living in some dark times and your words speak volumes.

I'd I had my choice I wouldn't change a thing I love where I am especially since I believe I'm exactly where I'm supposed to be
