You always have so much wisdom to share in your posts. What is your overall philosophy of life that guides you through the day and/or expresses your perspective about the meaning of life?
Hi Allison, are you still writing on each song from the beginning of all your releases? I thought I had signed up... Maybe I missed something. Otherwise, I take this chance to ask you how you are fairing these days. And tell you I miss your Sunday shows. Blessings to you and your family. Can't wait to hear of the fun you and Sissy will be having on your tour! I love your writing.
How excited are you about your upcoming shows with Shelby? Can you write a bit about the differences between performing solo, performing with fellow artists, and performing with someone as intimately close to you as your sissy? Wish y'all were coming to Atlanta. ❤
Will you have time to say hello at your Kansas City show and possibly your Sissy show in NYC? I Know NY will probably be really busy. love you and I am glad to see you back in the neighborhood!!!
How about a lively-rowdy-electric-guitar-rockin'-honky-tonk-red-solo-cup-foot-stomping-countryish album to yank us out of the covid funk. Time to let off some steam! How 'bout this album title: TIME TO SMILE.
Hi Allison - As a songwriter myself, I love how you employ non-diatonic chords in your songs. Those harmolodic shifts are surprising but very pleasing to the ear. Given this, I believe you actually start with a melody for your songs. Do you just follow a melody and find the best chord that underscores the emotion and notes? I tend to write from a lyric (at least a verse and chorus) before attempting the music (melody and chords), so I'd love to hear about your songwriting process. Thanks! Bob
When you wrote, “I liked some things about who I was then. I love every bit of myself now”, it moved me deeply and also exposed a nerve. Was there a moment, an event, an action that started you on the road to where you are now?
Hi Allison! When I had the pleasure to briefly chat with you after one of your Blood show a few years ago you said that the Beatles have influenced all of your music. Could you please elaborate on that a bit? And if you had a chance to watch it, what did you think about Peter Jackson's Get Back film?
As a passionate lover of music I am always seeking ways to find new music that I love. I don't listen to mainstream radio but there are a handful of stations I stream online and I always discover a new artist or song that I love. I'm wondering what terrestrial radio stations, if any, you listen to. My go to is WUMB and 100.9 the Creek in Macon, Georgia (WNEX). Also, Please do a Sissy show somewhere near middle Georgia! Thanks for resuming Q&A!
I love how you collaborated with John Henry on the new album. How has he responded to the album?
If you hadn’t become a singer-songwriter and writer, what do you think you would have been doing now? Px

Hi. Will you be putting any of your upcoming Sissy shows online? I’d love to pay to watch the show!
Same ! Loved your City Winery show.
Yes! Me too.
What did your writing process look like when you wrote your latest book? Did you have a set time each day to write it?

Hi Allison! I have worried about since the tornadoes ripped through your neck of the woods… was your house ok?
I wish I could attend in person one of the Shows with you & Shelby but sadly the timing is not good for me.
I wondered too, if you might have a pay per view of some kind of one of the shows?
MISS the Soul Soothing Sunday shows… any chance of maybe one before you go on the road?
Thank you for posting today
Sure do miss you 🌺

Who are your heroes? (outside of the music industry).

Hi Allison, Thank you for introducing me to Hiss Golden Messenger. Whose music are you listening to a lot now?
