Hi Allison. Your words sound calm, & good & peaceful. I understand what you’re saying in your post. No it’s never a comfortable or easy journey. Sometimes painful.

Looking forward to the animal paintings. The deer reminds me of Christmas with little lights. Pretty.

I bet your notebook holds some mighty special thoughts. Thanks for writing! I started to worry about you being alone in the woods. ❤️

Our "job" is to find the plan.

And try our best to implement it.

Yes. Each moment designed just for that. Amazing.

Some group in the 60s sang "slow down you move to fast......" with the result being: "Feeling Groovy". There are times when I'm embarrased to admit to knowing this song. I feel I should also feel so about sharing this knowledge with such a distinguished group of folks as you have following you. I'll le myself out. But I love you❤️

Simon and Garfunkel.

Yes, a little too Cutsie for you and I but it was a gentler. more innocent time.

I now can't get it out of my head. Thanks, Kenny, for the "earworm."

I'm never too sophisticated for any musical reference, Brother. I'm sure the group would say as much about themselves.

This is Family.

It sounds like you are in wise mind. In DBT, there are three states of mind: emotion, reasonable, and wise mind. Wise mind is in between the two, balanced.

I always love to hear about people finding joy in something because they trusted themselves to go outside their wheelhouse.

It is a true blessing to see each event in life as a stepping stone that brought us to the now. I've not always been great at keeping my footing on the slippery stones, but looking back, I can see how each difficult one was necessary to growth. Love the new animal series! Thank you for sharing.

“I’ve always been in the right place at the right time.”

We ARE. What takes a long time to understand is that *we always have been*. But it’s difficult to really understand that we’re not in control.
