Cold Cold Earth is as stripped down and naked and as to the point as any song could ever be. Must've been scary to put it out there. I am a better person for hearing it. But I won't lie, knowing about you and your life, I can only listen to it now and then because I love you and it is really painful to listen to.

That song actually made me cry when I first heard it. I knew some of the story and I couldn't help but think about two young girls. After reading "Blood" I understood more about that happening. To this day that tune makes me sad. I have skipped that track from time to time when I've listened to that fav album.
You performed Cold Cold Earth when I saw you at a showcase at The Fez in NYC. It’s one of the most achingly beautiful and moving performances I’ve ever seen. That whole night was magic.
