Really enjoy reading the backstory to these songs. Fascinating.

It's interesting how our views on things like death and heaven evolve as we age. The longer we live the more we grow.

My favorite song that ever existed. It brings me to my knees still. Oh I miss her to my bones.

This song hits so close to home. I miss my mama to my core and I lost her over 30 years ago.

So many great songs on this release. I’ve had Set you Free in my head since I got up. Some real sass in that one!

This came to my mind while I was reading towards the end ~ I have been mad at God for many things that have happened in our world ~ But we can not forget ~ there is also a devil who in many ways brings out much turmoil ~ I personally do not think God had any negative parts to do with anything that day !!

I could be wrong to but I also feel the devil had been bothering your father for way to long ~ You know deep inside he loved your mother & you two ~ So that's where I believe the devil came into all of this & not God !!

I am sure your mother grew up to know there is a heaven & I believe she is there ~ I had two brushes with death & from what I remember is ~ that at first it was all in slow motion ~ I heard beautiful music & saw & smelt beautiful gardens of flowers ~ Just a sense of happiness & peace ~ That's what I believe your mother went to & looks down on you two & see how wonderful you both have become !!

Next time you sing this song maybe think of her happiness & see her smiles of how proud she is of how wonderfully you sing ~ especially all those beautiful hymns she sings with you every Sunday !!!
