As a Hemingway enthusiast, I recommend seeking Joe Haldeman's novella, "The Hemingway Hoax," a time travel story dealing with the lost Hemingway manuscripts. Haldeman is a genre writer, but he's also a graduate of the Iowa Workshop who taught writing for years at MIT, so his work is more literary. I had the good fortune to meet him at the 2021 World Science Fiction Convention.
