So happy for you that you woke with feelings of Joy! One thing I really love about you Allison, you always work hard to find a better way, no matter the situation. You constantly strive for improvement. To heal. To work through trauma, fear and anxiety. And kindly share with all of us, so that we might learn to find a better way too. I have learned so much from you.

Of course I had to look up the definition of the quote and watch the video of butterfly hugging. Reminds me of softly patting someone to give them comfort. The commission piece is a very thoughtful gift. It’s beautiful.

Keep on keeping on. You’re winning. Cheering for you & all of us too. ❤️

I'm so happy for you!! Oh, how I wish I could hug you! I had an awful day at work (I'm a RN) and with you saying you feel joy has made me forget the ugly part of my day. You are so loved!

Regarding John Henry's appetite, when I was 13, I could eat a whole ham, asparagus, with room for sweet potato pie and ice cream. I am glad to hear that you're feeling peaceful. I envy you. Not because my life is rough, it's pretty good all things considered. But my brain runs constantly and it generally dwells in the in the land of never enough. You have been developing a lot of tools as well as different twists on your artistic soul. As always I/we love you a bushel or possibly more. Until next time

When I was 13, my father said, "your zodiac sign is buffet." That's funny now that I'm in OA.

Your butterfly hugs made me think of the Balanchine quote “My ballets are like butterflies.” The hugs might be a way to hold onto that feeling for a little longer, but also being more present in the moment. Good to hear this technique is working for you.

The commission idea sounds intriguing, but mine would need to incorporate ballet in some way, and I don’t think that’s in your wheelhouse.😉

Maybe not, but ballet pink is 😉 🤍
