Allison, you’re already a cycle breaker with your keen awareness, insight, and desire to change. Once you unravel the yarn, it still has some kinks, but it can be used again and again to create something completely new. The story you tell is not a “yarn” (or a yawn) because it’s completely valid and truthful.

Yes she is! Her bio "Blood" truly changed my life! As well as the accompanying CD. I think both should be utilized to promote Healing for anyone who grew up Trauma...

In NA, my 12 step group, crosstalk is persons other than the person sharing interjecting themselves into the sharers' sharing even if it is in support of the sharer's message. And in NA, if it becomes contagious, one might hear STFU. Regarding not crosstalking in the family or anyone being supportive never. Snide remarks, sarcasm, all the time. Displays of love amongst parents, not once in my life. So that might explain my need to send tik tok of parrots saying "I love you" to pretty women. I'm working on it. I promise

Unraveling the woven ... reminds me of ‘The Fates’ ... the spinning, measuring and cutting of ‘The Yarn’. Be proud Sister! (You’re depth and breadth of wisdom are not lost on me. Grateful for you!)

You will make it, and break the cycle. You're doing it right now.

I wish that when you try to look up "woke" in the dictionary, this piece is what you should find, not whatever nonsense comes out of the Desantos et al mouth.

That’s a beautiful blue. I call it Chagall blue because it reminds me of a colour he often used in paintings and stained-glass windows. It’s a very positive colour for me today and I need that after a difficult few days in terms of my health where I’ve spent several hours in 2 different A&E departments. I have a tremendous desire for life and achieving more from my remaining years. I think this is the colour of my desire. Thanks 🙏 Px

I believe it’s called Turkish blue in my palette - I also mix it with Prussian blue. 💙

We try so hard NOT to be our parents and grandparents, and some of us fail.

My grandmother was first-generation Irish, from New Jersey. Her generation wore their prejudices like medals. She taught her kids. Some of them taught *their* kids, my cousins. But some broke away from all of that.

It’s a process. We’re never a finished work. The important thing is to keep trying. Thanks for your reflection.

"No matter how hard you try,

or how sorry you are,

for your transgressions,

you can never change the past.

It is a fool's errand.

So concentrate on today,

and do everything that will make

you proud of yourself tomorrow!"

The unnameable, I believe, just might be GRACE....and we only get to Grace, WHEN we get there...Its a journey, a pursuit, and when it does find me, I am so very thankful! I struggle to find it in many past relationships, still...But Grace is the Goal so I keep working, falling down, getting back up and starting over again. Each day holds new possibilities for growth.
