Driving home from Costco under clear skies and sunshine, I caught sight of a large wingspan circling over the intersection I was approaching. A bald eagle soaring. This should be a sign, I thought. Was it meant for me? I cruised through the intersection as slowly as reasonably possible. The image stayed with me. As I recounted the event to a friend on the phone, I found myself looking at the painting in my home of a bird, with large wingspan, flying out from treetops. We were talking about my recent breakup. I realized in that instant what I needed and would never get from that relationship. I knew my answer all along, the sign was for me. My weekend miracle was to flip that switch!.
