I've read every word & been moved & inspired. I JUST - long time coming - subscribed to Substack to stick my little toe in w/ my poetry/writing....long time coming. Someday, a book. For now, thanks for helping me just let it be it's own beginning & end. I really like that. If you ever wish to see what you inspire, find me at Janet Emma on that same platform. Your fan, follower, supporter...always.

I’m with you, whatever you decide, always. JB (PS: Stunning needlepoint. You’re amazing. Wish I could commission a piece of THAT from you.)

Thank you, Allison. I love reading what you write. (On first sight, pre-reading, I thought it was a tree you’d stitched - upside down 🙃)

And just because I started a Pulmonary Rehab, today, it is good to read about breathing and to see your lung art. It's everything. I love the word Autotelic, as well...

and just because I want to thank you. You are an inspiration and gift to me.

Everything you create is a work of art. I’ve never heard anyone express themselves so well with words. I don’t know where your gift comes from, but I’m so grateful to have that connection. This community has opened up a whole new world for me and I look forward to the continued journey.

My twin daughters have cystic fibrosis so your red lungs move me. With CF and Covid, if you can’t breath nothing else matters. Autotelic like it is everyday and twice on Sundays!

I’m glad to understand the word autotelic from your perspective. I thought it an odd word until now. Funny, how beauty can hide when you lack knowledge or insight, but it’s there all along. Only to be revealed when you’re willing to “listen”.

Your embroidery work is lovely. It’s something I enjoy, too ... puts me in a Zen space.

It's wonderful to see that your embroidery of human lungs looks to me like trees, which are the lungs of the earth...

Allison, you are so beautiful...inside and out. Thanks for sharing your beauty with all of us!

Another compelling post, Allison. I love the idea that art exists because we allow it to flow through us. We are truly nothing more than a channel, or at least that is the way I feel. I am a conduit through which it is birthed. Thank you for sharing. My day is uplifted!
