I had a whole post written and was ready to start work on the next draft, but I decided not to send it to you today. It’s beautiful outside, and I feel like saying less than I normally would, maybe because I’m surrounded by color.

I hope you find some bits of joy and happiness today. I get to talk about my son and music tonight at an event for the Vanderbilt Music Cognition Lab — I always get emotional when I talk about him, so wish me luck.
