I have a few, although a couple might be more sensitive topics than you’d rather get into in this type of forum. I threw in a completely harmless one just in case.
What’s something you wish someone would ask about? Something you love to talk about but don’t get to very often? Maybe something surprising that you kinda geek out on that we may not know about.
How is John Henry? What’s he up to these days as he’s growing into a young man? Any new favorite activities or places or things? Any big summer plans?
What is your favorite flower? I kayaked with some friends this weekend and came across this meadow of wildflowers that I didn’t want to leave. I don’t know what they are, but right now they have all my love. (I’ve attached a couple pics although they don’t do the place any kind of justice.)

Dear Elizabeth.
Thank you for these questions.
Particularly the first one: What’s something you wish someone would ask about?
Hmmm… this is compelling to think about. A few things come to mind: a) I’d like to converse about the craft of writing more than I seem to, with someone who’s interested and b) what I want to do when I grow up.
My son, John Henry, is doing so well. Thanks for asking about him. He’ll be fifteen soon and I can’t believe it. He’s handsome, intelligent, and forging his own path. I’m honored to be one of his shepherds. We don’t have big summer plans other than to continue to develop our community here in Nashville. Evergrow Farms is coming to fruition thanks to Kayla, John Henry’s long-time speech therapist, who also has a son on the autism spectrum. She procured a piece of property that will soon be up and running as Evergrow Farms, which will provide meaningful employment for adults with intellectual disabilities. You can find out more about that here.
And since I’ve now brought it up, we’ll be doing some fundraisers soon. Stay tuned on that.
John Henry is the light of my world. He will sing his song.
I have a hard time thinking of a flower I don’t like. I love hyacinths. Lilacs. Peonies. Roses. Wildflowers from the side of the road. Bird of paradise if there are two in a vase and nothing else. Tulips. Double Tulips! Hellebores. Amaranth.
See what I mean? I love them all, from the supposed weeds to the most precious blooms.
Thanks again for taking the time to write. And y’all send some new questions to:

Peace. Love. And have a great weekend.

There are are few things more appealing to me than a beautiful woman going on at length about her hyperfocus/special interest in the craft of writing. :-)
