What makes you laugh more than anything else? Do you have a go-to thing that reliably makes you laugh so hard you cry? (God help me, I'm ABD in philosophy and my ex says I'm the stereotype of an East Coast elite Jew, but I lose my mind to Beavis & Butthead.)

What makes you laugh more than anything else?

Well, I’d have to say my sister makes me laugh more than anything/anyone else. She’s funny as hell, but it’s more than her sense of humor that cracks me up. What tickles me so is that I can tell what she’s thinking and vice versa. At this point, we’ve got 50 years of history and funny things done and said to draw on and we pretty much just laugh constantly when we’re together because we are the same kind of alien 👽 one of the most beautiful things about our relationship is that even with our tragedies, we’ve laughed together more than we’ve cried.

Do you have a go-to thing that reliably makes you laugh so hard you cry?

I am completely twisted. I like to watch videos of people falling or doing stupid things like this until I almost throw up.

I like goats — they make me laugh every time. Especially this one:

My son makes me laugh. My husband cracks me up on the regular. My BFF keeps my sides splitting too. I guess I’m pretty lucky that I laugh A LOT. I also cry pretty often — despite my calm and cool exterior, I’m an emotional person with an excess of personality.
