Hi Substack Friends.

You might’ve seen a link to the livestream I’m doing next weekend, Sunday, September 26, at 6pm central. The plan as of now is this: I will read some passages from my new memoir, I Dream He Talks to Me, I’ll play some songs old and new, and then I’ll do a Q+A.

I need y’all to help me with two things:

1 — I need your Questions for the Q+A. Please leave them in the comments of this post by hitting the leave a comment button, particularly if you have one that’s related to parenting, autism, people with special needs, writing to heal… those sorts of things are what I’m talking about these days.

2 — I need you to buy a ticket and attend! If the time isn’t good for you, the livestream will be available for 48 hours after we go live. Here’s the ticket link.

I do hope you’ll join me. Though this book was hard to write, and in some ways what’s in it is hard to talk about, it’s incredibly special to me. It would help me confidently kick off the promotion for it if I know y’all are there holding me up like you always do.
