Five For Friday

is back!

I’ve been wanting to bring back Five For Friday for a few years. I think now is the perfect time to give it a try—when the back to school feelings are in the air and I’m ready for fresh projects.

For those of you who are new to me and The Autotelic, Five For Friday is a list I used to make and share on social media once a week—just a simple compilation of things I wanted to share for whatever reason.

As I mention over and over, I don’t have the time for exploration that I used to. With my museum position as writer-editor also came a severe lack of time at the writing table, the easel, the dress form… and there are some mornings when I long for a stretch of unbroken time at any one of those places.

But to everything there is a season.

And for every reason I can’t find time to do all the creative work I want to do, there are many more reasons to carve it out with intention and quit making excuses.

So with that, I’m delighted to bring back Five For Friday for my paid subscribers.
